Practitioner - Ivan Judd DipClinHyp PMHNZ
Through his own health challenges over ten years ago, Ivan began his journey of intensive research and study into the links and causes of numerous conditions of both physical and psychological illnesses and diseases. His experiences led him to a variety of healing modalities, in which he is now qualified, including Advanced Clinical Hypnosis, EFT (Meridian Tapping), Bio-Resonance and Bio-Energetic Medicine (Energy Psychology). He is also a Journey practitioner, has training in Core Dynamics / Human Software Engineering, Auriculotherapy (ear accupuncture - without needles) and is a Certified Life Coach.
Ivan is an experienced motivational speaker and has spent a number of years delivering seminars and workshops around New Zealand. In his travels he encountered many people who were searching desperately for the answers to their health problems. This started Ivan’s journey into the mind-body connection which steered him in the direction of Natural Healing and methods to change dis-empowering beliefs and programmed habits that contribute to illness and diseases.
Ivan has refined a model that specialises in the clearing of emotional blocks that are in the way of a person’s optimum health and well-being. As a result, much of his work is focussed on people challenged by psychological and emotional disorders like Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Phobias to name a few. He firmly believes that these conditions are symptomatic of an emotional cause which can be completely dissolved and reversed into complete wellness and health.
Emotional and Physical Connection
“When first learning about physical illnesses and the emotions connected with them, I was confused. Why would anger be held in the liver, grief and sadness in the lungs, fear in the kidneys, etc? What was the reason for each emotion to go to a specific organ or place in the body? I struggled to make sense out of this.
Finally, when I came across the answer, I learnt that, "It is all about understanding energy and frequency.
“Since each organ has a vibrational frequency, as do emotions, the emotions will settle in an area with a corresponding frequency.”
This was an “a-hah!” moment for me. Now it made sense. I was now willing to look deeper into what links the physical and the emotional together. Now I could see why it is possible to heal the physical issue when you heal the related emotional issue.”

It is estimated that at least 85 to 90% (if
not more) of all physical problems have psychological roots.
I have been informed that Harvard Medical School published research in The Lancet Medical Journal in 2005, together with The American Centres for Disease Control (CDC), in which they stated that up to 85% of ailments are stress or emotion induced and maintained. Shortly after this research was published, The American Institute of Stress confirmed their findings that indeed this figure was closer to 90%, to date, I have not been able to secure a copy of that report to confirm this. However, there is an overwhelming amount of evidence, and growing studies and reports to support that claim. It is one I firmly believe, given my experience, both personal and from the results from my clients.
We all know that tension can cause headaches, fear can causing breathing restrictions,
nervousness can cause sweaty palms, etc.
It is clear that there is a definite relationship between our emotional and our physical self.
This is no longer a secret in the mainstream medical profession.
Our emotions affect the physical body.
Emotional healing has the potential to go a long way towards physical healing.
